I'll be taking a sabbatical from preaching rather than from my fulltime job. At the moment with preaching and banding I'm busy most nights of the week. When I'm preparing a service it takes me at least 4 evenings to complete it and then with one night at band rehearsal I don't get too much time to spend with the family. By taking the sabbatical I'm only out 1 night per week in general. I certainly couldn't afford to take 2 years off from my fulltime job! Oops, methinks I didn’t make myself too clear.
